In 2009, my wife and I decided to attempt Project 365: one photograph per day for one year. My goal was to create a truly good photograph each day, though I fell short more often than I succeeded. However, in spite of many below average photographs, I am thankful to have forced myself to take far more photographs than I otherwise would have, including a few that make the whole project worthwhile. :)

Tonight my sweetheart cooked me a wonderful birthday dinner -- salad with feta cheese and lots of other good things, bread and humboldt fog cheese, feta-stuffed salmon, and a glass of merlot, with tira misu cake and four shots of sabra (one for each of us, and two spilled on the table) for dessert -- and a wonderfully thoughtful card as well. I am incredibly blessed and loved. :)
