In 2009, my wife and I decided to attempt Project 365: one photograph per day for one year. My goal was to create a truly good photograph each day, though I fell short more often than I succeeded. However, in spite of many below average photographs, I am thankful to have forced myself to take far more photographs than I otherwise would have, including a few that make the whole project worthwhile. :)

<i>Alameda, California — April 20, 2009</i>

Today it was <i>hot</i> -- 89 degrees in the Bay Area. Not sure what that's all about. But on the bright side, it did make for a wonderful evening, which we took advantage of by playing tennis with our friends. I haven't played in a long time and am very rusty, but still had a great time.

$[365.120] Iron Shark <i>Alameda, California — April 30, 2009</i> Every once in a while, I have to iron my dress shirts. I actually like ironing a little bit in a way -- it's very tactile, and almost soothing. But ironing in creases and wrinkles where I don't want them is frustrating. Paying someone to iron my dress shirts seems silly, but it's also a bit lame to spend an hour ironing three articles of clothing. :\ © Brendan Cox — All Rights Reserved$
