In 2009, my wife and I decided to attempt Project 365: one photograph per day for one year. My goal was to create a truly good photograph each day, though I fell short more often than I succeeded. However, in spite of many below average photographs, I am thankful to have forced myself to take far more photographs than I otherwise would have, including a few that make the whole project worthwhile. :)

Not that I want one of my own, but babies can be pretty darn cute. Especially this little guy. Meet Darren, our friends' seven month old kid who is pretty darn cute when he's in the mood to acknowledge my existence. ISO 1600 + f/1.4 meant I didn't get many photographs in focus when he was laughing, since it seems like babies have a tendency to shake back and forth violently when they're happy. I like this photograph for some reason, even though he's not erupting with super cute laughter.
