In 2009, my wife and I decided to attempt Project 365: one photograph per day for one year. My goal was to create a truly good photograph each day, though I fell short more often than I succeeded. However, in spite of many below average photographs, I am thankful to have forced myself to take far more photographs than I otherwise would have, including a few that make the whole project worthwhile. :)

Every workday I walk back to my car along a road that looks out over San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a difficult scene to photograph well, but I always love just taking in the view, looking out across the bay. Seeing the Golden Gate from this distance makes me think about how it must have looked for people coming to California over the sea, from the other side. Anyway, I finally brought my tripod and took some photographs, and used Photoshop CS3 on my break at work to make a three-photo panorama. I'm satisfied with my first attempt. :)
